A teaching approach through which to deliver the new Maths curriculum which allows assessment of pupil progress within a lesson, across a National Curriculum objective, within a half term, term or year with evidence. It addresses 'gaps' in pupils learning, pushes the more able, and incorporates reasoning, problem solving and investigative maths on a daily basis. It sets out clear expectations for every child in terms of work ethic and promotes active learning and independence.
